LORE OF
ELLYRIUM

A tale of war, shattered realms, and the eternal struggle between dominion and chaos.

Ellyrium is not a place—it is a prison, a battlefield, a realm beyond time itself. A continent formed from the fragments of countless civilizations, mythologies, and ages, it exists outside of reality, where gods, monsters, and warriors from every era are thrown into endless conflict.

No one knows who created Ellyrium or why it exists. Some say it is the remains of a forgotten world, fractured by divine war. Others believe it is the final battleground, where only the strongest shall earn redemption or oblivion.

Here, time has lost meaning—a Spartan warrior can clash with a futuristic cyber-knight, and an ancient titan can fall to a gunslinger from a distant star. The only law that remains is the law of war.

The warriors of Ellyrium are known as the Ruinborn—disgraced champions, cursed conquerors, and battle-hungry legends torn from their own realities and cast into this endless war.

Each Ruinborn was once a hero, a tyrant, a god, or a king, but their fate was sealed by their greatest failure. Whether they were betrayed, defeated, or corrupted, they were judged unworthy in their own worlds.

But Ellyrium offers them one last chance at redemption.

If they can fight, survive, and conquer, they may reclaim their lost honor and return to their rightful place in history. But if they fail, they will be consumed by the monstrosities that lurk within Ellyrium, doomed to become part of the nightmare forever.

"You have fallen. You have lost everything. But in Ellyrium, you can rise again. Fight, conquer, or be forgotten."

THE ENDLESS WAR
& THE UNWRITTEN

Ellyrium is a place of constant conflict, where the Ruinborn must not only battle each other for dominance but also fight against the horrors that infest this broken world.

To prove themselves, warriors must:

Eliminate other Ruinborn to claim their power.

Survive the unwritten of Ellyrium, creatures older than time itself.

Unravel the secrets of the continent and unlock its ancient power.

The strongest among them may reach the Throne of Eternity, where the first and last warrior stands. But none have yet survived the trials to reach it…

"Every battle is a step closer to your destiny—or to your doom."

While the Ruinborn battle for supremacy, they are not the only predators in this land. The Unwritten—ancient abominations that predate all known history—roam the continent, hunting those foolish enough to challenge them.

These creatures are not of any single mythology; they are born from the nightmares and legends of every fallen civilization that was swallowed by Ellyrium.

Notorious Unwritten

🔹 The Hollow King – A towering knight of rusted armor, with a skeletal face hidden beneath a golden mask. He whispers the names of every warrior he has slain.

🔹 The Maw of Aeons – A vast, writhing horror with a thousand mouths, endlessly devouring time itself. To be caught in its grasp is to be erased from history.

🔹 The Black Herald – A being that walks the battlefield unseen, marking those who are unworthy. When the Herald chooses you, your fate is sealed.

🔹 The Titan of Shards – A monstrous colossus made of broken ruins, shifting and rebuilding itself as it fights. Its body is a graveyard of fallen civilizations.

🔹 The Forgotten Choir – A swarm of faceless entities that whisper forgotten myths. To listen too long is to lose your identity, becoming one of them.

The Ruinborn must battle the Unwritten to grow stronger, harvest their power, and forge their own legends. But the deeper they go into Ellyrium’s darkest corners, the greater the risk of becoming the very monstrosities they fight.

Those who prove themselves in battle may reach the Throne of Eternity, where the gods once ruled. Legends say that the warrior who reaches the throne may rewrite their fate, erasing their disgrace and returning to their world as a god, a ruler, or a hero reborn.

But to do so, they must defeat every challenger, claim the power of the umwritten, and ascend beyond all who came before.

Many have tried.

All have fallen.
